A CHILDREN’S charity based in Skipton is celebrating a two-year fundraising partnership with architects firm Bowman Riley, which is also based in the town.
Staff at the company have raised almost £7,500 in the last two years for SELFA , which helps disadvantaged and disabled children throughout Craven.
Among many fundraising activities, Bowman Riley staff have run the length of the Leeds-Liverpool canal in three days, completed the Manchester half-marathon and rowed across Lake Windermere.
The firm’s Kara Thorpe said: “We asked our team to vote for the charity they felt the most affinity with, and SELFA was chosen. It’s great to support a charity that is so close to our head office.”
