LOOK out....the Wicked Witch of the West is behind you!
Carleton's ever-popular pantomime returns with a version of the children's classic 'The Wizard of Oz,' the village's interpretation of the familiar story of Dorothy, played by Anna Milburn, getting carried over the rainbow to the Merry Old Land of Oz where - spoiler alert! - she defeats the Wicked Witch.
It is the village's 23rd annual panto since the Carleton Village Theatre Group was revived, and runs in the Village Hall from Wednesday, February 27 to Saturday, March 2, with performances beginning at 7.30pm each evening and a matinee at 2 pm on the Saturday. Tickets are available from the Box Office on 07834 545679, at carletoncommunity@gmail.com and Carleton Web on Facebook, £6 adults, £4 children.
