A BRAND new nursery provision is being made at Kirkby Malham Primary School which will open in September.

There will be around 10 places available for children from the age of three, ideally starting the term after their third birthday so it does not affect local provision for under threes.

Richard Wright, executive headteacher for Kirkby Malham Primary School and said:“This is an exciting new provision for local families and will be an exclusive and personalised service for parents, led and supported by an amazing team.

"Our nursery provision will be unique as it is one of the few establishments to offer teacher-led, teacher planned and teacher organised sessions.

"There will be up to 30 hours of free nursery education, so as to give our children the very best start to education.

"We are limiting the places available so this is a very special opportunity to join us at our wonderful school."

Provision will be led by experienced practitioner and North Yorkshire lead teacher for early years, Claire Middleton, and supported by our experienced staff team.

Parents are being asked to contact the school to register their child.
