THE eighth annual Pendle Job Fair is due to take place on Friday (March 22) with leading employers and colleges from across the area in attendance.

Organised by Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson, the fair, to be held in Colne, is set to be one of the best so far says Mr Stephenson with employers and training providers queuing for a stall ready to share their exciting opportunities.

Top employers and successful training providers from the area, will be on hand to share their expertise and highlight the range of careers available, with many offering one-on-one advice and mock interviews.

The Pendle Jobs Fair is intended for people of all ages wishing to broaden their horizons on jobs, employment, volunteering and training.

It will also be useful to people wanting to extend their skills, gain advice on writing a CV, looking for a change of career, or just to see what opportunities there are available in Pendle.

Mr Stephenson, who will be attending the event, said, “If you’re looking for work, a new career direction, or to expand your skill range, come along to the event and see what companies and training providers in Pendle have to offer. I hope to see you there.”

The Jobs Fair will be held on Friday (March 22) , at the Colne Municipal Theatre, Albert Road, Colne. It will start at 11am and run until 3pm. Booking is not necessary.
