VOLUNTEERS in Ingleton have sprung into action to help clean up the village.
Members of Ingleton in Bloom took part in the Great British Spring Clean, a national initiative instigated by the Keep Britain Tidy group.
Eighteen participants wearing high-visibility vests and armed with litter grabbers managed to collect 45 bags of rubbish and a variety of larger dumped items.
The group is aiming to have another litter collection later in the year.
