LONG Preston May Day committee have chosen Eliza Mandziuk as this year's May Queen.
Long Preston May Day events will take place on Saturday May 4.
Eliza will be crowned the new queen by retiring May Queen Skye Dinsdale at 1pm. This will be followed by traditional Maypole and country dancing by the children from Long Preston primary school.
Entertainment and stalls run by community groups will be held afterwards on the green behind Rohan.
A handicraft schedule is now available.
The day will end with a grand finale from Andy the Jester at 4pm.
