SILSDEN'S new king and queen have been crowned.
Alicea-Mae Gould and Anderson Healey were chosen for the regal roles at an event today, organised by the town's gala committee.
Any child aged five or over was invited to take part in the selection, at The Hive, in Elliot Street.
The event also included the chance for youngsters to make Mother's Day cards and small planters, with flowers, and decorate buns.
Alicea-Mae, 11, enjoys horse riding, and six-year-old Anderson's hobbies include BMX biking.
The gala committee thanked the volunteers who helped at the event and those who donated cakes and items for a raffle.
