SILSDEN & Steeton Medical Practice has joined a GP 'super-partnership'.

The surgery has become part of the Modality Partnership, which already runs seven practices across an area stretching from Keighley to Skipton.

Dr Andy Parsons – executive partner and GP with Modality Airedale, Craven and Wharfedale – said the organisation was delighted to welcome its latest member.

He added: "We are fully committed to providing excellent, high-quality care to meet our patients' needs and serving our local communities with healthcare that meets their expectations."

Dr Matthew Milbourn, senior GP partner at Silsden & Steeton Medical Practice, hailed the move as "a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference".

"It is an opportunity to lead the way in transforming care for our patients and providing more-innovative approaches to how we offer healthcare services," he added.

"By being part of a larger group of GP practices, we can make exciting changes.

"In the near future, our patients can expect to see improvements to access and the way our medical practices work.

"We have chosen to work with Modality Partnership as it shares our same ethos and vision for the future of patient care and GP-led services.

"We're working with our staff to develop future plans and are keen to hear from our patients and stakeholders.

"It is hugely exciting to have joined Modality Partnership and we look forward to being a key player in shaping the future of healthcare in Airedale, Craven and Wharfedale."

The practice has branches in Elliott Street, Silsden, and Chapel Road, Steeton.
