A LUNCHEON staged by a Manorlands support group has served-up a tasty donation.
The event raised £2,300 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
More than 100 people attended the lunch, held in Burnsall by the Wharfedale group.
Homemade soups and desserts were served and a talk was given by Amanda Owen, ‘the Yorkshire Shepherdess’.
Group member, Carolyn Butt, said: “The event was a great success but it would not have been possible without everyone’s help, both on the day and in the planning and cooking. I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all involved.”
