CIRCUS Starr is returning to Silsden and is offering 1,000 free tickets to vulnerable and disabled children.
The “circus with a purpose” will erect the big top at Silsden car boot sale site, Low Woodside Farm, for 4.45pm and 7pm performances on Friday April 26.
Circus Starr allocates £1.37 million worth of free circus tickets every year to children and families in need.
There will also be a special Mobiloo vehicle with a Changing Places facility for disabled people, with an adult sized changing bench, a hoist and disabled toilet.
This year’s show boasts talent from across the globe, with ringmaster Joel Hatton presenting acts including the Serik Brothers on the Chinese straps, female clown Andreea and the energetic Athumani Kenyan Warriors.
A spokesman said: “The community event exists to bring the magical art of circus to children facing various difficulties that they simply don’t deserve – from disabilities to bereavements.”
