AN engineering firm has helped make sure children in Airedale Hospital over the Easter break do not feel left out.
Howard Civil Engineering, which is based in Leeds, donated Easter eggs to youngsters who are currently being cared for in Airedale’s Children’s Ward.
This same firm will be working on the major Hard Ings Road improvement scheme in Keighley for the next year, so wanted to give something back to the local community.
Abbie Harrop from Howard Civil Engineering, said: “It is nice to get involved with the local community before the work starts. We wanted to bring a smile to children’s faces this Easter.
“As we’re working in the area for just over a year, we’re hoping to do more to support the hospital in the coming months.”
A spokesman for Airedale responded: "The chocolate eggs were gratefully received by staff and children on the ward."
