A DALES charity is offering people the chance to take part in a free, seven mile walk taking in Crummackdale and Thieves Moss.
The Friends of the Dales walk will take place on Wednesday, May 1, and will follow a circular route setting off from Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
Taking a full day, walkers will enjoy specular scenery of open limestone country and quiet paths.
Along the way walk leader Bernard Peel will share his knowledge of geological and glacial forces which have shaped the landscape.
The walk is part of the Ride2Stride festival and is train-friendly, starting from Horton railway station at 10.35pm and finishing at around 4pm.
Walkers should go prepared for all weathers, and with a packed lunch, no dogs, apart from guide dogs. To find out more, visit: ride2stride.co.uk
