THERE will be plenty of art on show in a variety of different media at the 68th annual art exhibition of Clapham Art Group later this month.
The now popular yearly event will be held in the village hall in Cross Haw Lane , Clapham, and will feature a selection of all original art work from members, who include both professionals and talented amateurs.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to buy the artwork, which will include framed and mounted paintings, as well as sketches and cards, covering all sorts of topics including colourful landscapes.
There will also be homemade refreshments to buy in aid of St James Church, Clapham.
There will also be a chance to view the art work at a preview evening, on Friday, May 24 from 8pm, to which all are welcome.
Members are drawn from the area and meet throughout the year to paint, share ideas, critique and to explore creative techniques.
Each year members produce new and original work in a variety of media for the exhibition.
The art exhibition will take place from Saturday, May 25 to Sunday, June 2 and will be open from 11am to 6pm each day.
