AFTER its successful first event of the season -'Yorkshire Relish' - Settle Sessions Poetry is trying another new approach with a daytime workshop.
Playing With Words will be given by Jean Stevens, a poet and creative writing tutor, who lives in Settle.
Open to anyone interested in writing poetry, participants will work in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere with exercises and inspirational starters to suit beginners and experienced poets alike.
And, people are being encouraged to come along and play with words.
The workshop will be held on Saturday (June 15) at Settle Community Library, from 2.30pm. Tickets, £5 from the library. It will be followed by 'annual gathering' with free wine and nibbles, to which all supporters of Settle Sessions Poetry are invited.
