Another 12 officers were kicked too
TWELVE West Yorkshire Police officers were punched while doing their job last week, with 39 assaults happening overall.
West Yorkshire Police Federation tweeted their weekly figures, and confirmed that 12 officers were also kicked while on duty.
A further seven were grappled or had bodily force used upon them, six were spat at, while another five were bitten.
