TALENTED singer, Emily Brown will perform at Alexander’s Gin and Jazz evening on Tuesday July 2, joining a long line-up of talented artists who have performed at the monthly event since it started in 2017.
An experienced jazz singer, Emily is renowned for her gifted harmonies that take songs to new emotional depths. Joined by pianist Jason Scott, the duo will perform a wide range of jazz, blues and soul classics from all the revered jazz greats.
Owner of Alexander’s Susannah Daley said: “We are delighted to welcome Emily and Jason and their exquisite repertoire of warm and soulful jazz to Alexander’s. Emily is an engaging artist to listen to so expect to be amazed by fresh arrangements of some of the best known jazz classics.”
Coupled with a 40 strong gin selection, Alexander’s says its Gin and Jazz evening is a stylish and informal, free monthly event which brings live music from some of the UK’s most prominent jazz artists, including Tom Seals, Jimmy Stuttard and Maria Watton-Graham.
Gin and Jazz starts at 7pm with the music from 8pm.
