A GROUP of 25 friends and family completed the Young Minds 10K Your Way challenge by walking from Stainforth to Feizor and back in memory of Aidan Mazurke, from Cross Hills, who tragically died at the age of 16 in October 2017.
Aidan would have been 18 on June 21.
The walk over the fields to Feizor was one of Aidan’s favourites when he visited his grandma’s house in Stainforth. The walk provided breath-taking views of the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside.
The walk proved a great success raising £300 for Young Minds, and it was agreed to make the walk an annual event each June in memory of Aidan.
