THE final concert in the 2019 Bolton Priory Concert series is entitled ‘Finding Home: Kate Williams’ Four Plus Three meets Georgia Mancio’.
Promising to be a very special evening’s music, this collaboration between Kate Williams’ trio (Oli Hayhurst, David Ingamells), the Guastalla string quartet will perform a collection of songs old and newly co-written centred around the concept of home.
Some of the lyrics are inspired by true stories of refugees searching for home, others focus on stories of love, loss and hope, ranging from the local to the global, in musical arrangements and original compositions for this innovative combination of players and voice.
This is the final concert in an Arts Council England-assisted tour which has seen the release of their new album.
This last event is the only opportunity in the current tour to hear this programme in the north of England.
It takes place on Saturday, July 13.
