BUS services between Skipton and Ilkley will be disrupted by road closures for the Ilkley Half Marathon this Sunday, July 14.
Buses will be unable to run in or out of Ilkley from mid-morning until lunchtime, while the race takes over the roads.
On DalesBus route 873 the following journeys will only run between Skipton and Bolton Bridge, and will not serve Ilkley or Addingham:
- the bus from Skipton at 1030 will terminate at Bolton Bridge at 1057
- the bus usually due from Ilkley at 1140 will start from Bolton Bridge at 1154
On DalesBus route 884 the bus usually due into Skipton at 10.38 will be diverted via Airedale, and will not serve Ilkley, but will continue from Skipton to Malham as usual at 10.40.
Buses later in the day are expected to run normally, starting with the bus at 12.30 from Skipton to Ilkley, and the bus at 14.40 from Ilkley to Skipton.
