A BIG Bike Sunday show staged by the Steeton-based Girder Fork and Classic Motorcycle Club was a roaring success.
More than 1,200 enthusiasts gathered for the event, at Skipton Auction Mart. And over 100 classic and modern machines were on display.
The event also saw former Isle of Man TT winner Tony Jefferies reunited with a Triumph he had constructed in the 1960s. The bike is now owned by a club member. Mr Jefferies spoke about how the machine came about and his racing career, and he and brother Nick – pictured together with the bike – presented the show prizes.
The event raised over £4,000 to be split between Manorlands, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Whiteknights Yorkshire Blood Bikes.
