A SILSDEN nurse who specialises in improving people’s appearance is holding a first birthday party for her aesthetics service.

Jacqui Mac uses medical treatments to reduce the visible effects of conditions like scars, skin tags, wrinkles, moles, liver spots and skin discolouration.

A qualified nurse with specialist training, she can also improve cosmetic appearance by treating conditions like skin laxity, excess fat, unwanted hair and cellulite.

She launched Jacqui Mac Aesthetics, with a clinic in New Road, Silsden, last year after leaving the NHS.

She said: “I’ve been a nurse 15 years and doing aesthetics for 10 years, and pride myself on excellent customer service, assessments, safety and natural results.

“Cosmetic injectables and high-standard skin care products are used to create natural results. Prescription-grade skin products and cosmeceuticals can be used.

“Silsden has a phenomenal amount of beauty salons and hairdressers, and I get a lot of referrals from local salons.”

The event will be on Saturday, July 20 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the clinic. There will be Prosecco and canapés, live demonstrations, questions and answers on treatment, and information-sharing.

Jacqui added: "I also have a flower wall unveiling, made by one of the local artists Fern And Foxglove whose creations are becoming really popular dressing salon windows.”
