PLANS for a new warehouse have been submitted to Warrington Borough Council.
Powerhouse Propco II S.A.R.L has put forward proposals to build a new warehouse with office space, parking and landscaping at Appleton Thorn trading estate, on Lyncastle Road.
The design and access statement confirmed the site aims to deliver an ‘aesthetically pleasing feature’ upon entry of the site.
It adds: “The proposal is to redevelop a brownfield site and the scale of the development makes for an efficient use of the land.
“The unit has been designed to maximise efficiency in accordance with end tenant requirements, building access, servicing and site circulation.
“The site itself is well located for use of public transport being within walking distance of a bus stop.
“Good visibility and the provision of sheltered cycle spaces promote access by bicycle.”
The applicant is proposing to provide parking for 43 cars and eight bicycles.
