EMBSAY woman Jo Moseley is due to set off this weekend on her paddleboard, on a challenging 162 mile canal journey.
Paddleboard The North will see Jo setting off on Saturday from Liverpool, taking the Desmond Family Canoe Trail, and arriving in Goole, ten days later on August 6. The route will take Jo via the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and the Aire and Calder Navigation.
If all goes to plan, she will arrive in East Marton on Yorkshire Day, August 1, before continuing to Kildwick, Apperley Bridge, and then on to Castleford.
Jo is planning to spend a section of each day picking up litter and raising money for the charities
The Wave Project and 2minutebeachclean community. To follow Jo on her journey, visit: healthyhappy50.com/update/paddleboard-the-north/
