YEAR-six pupils at Kildwick Primary School were given a taste of potential future jobs.
A careers morning, involving several businesses from the area, was held at the school.
Among those present were the NHS, Fives Landis, Rolls Royce and Destination travel agents.
And representing the self-employed were Thread of Life and InspirEd.
Class teacher, Laura Paxford, said the event was a huge success.
“It really inspired all our children and made them aware of a wider range of careers,” she added.
Peter Wardyn, apprentice and training manager at Eastburn-based Fives Landis, said: “It was a lovely event and the students were really interested in what we do.”
