A COMMUNITY enjoyed a day trip to Amsterdam – without leaving the area!
There was a Dutch theme to this year's Holidays At Home event, at St Stephen's Church hall, Steeton.
After 'boarding' flight 03082019, guests enjoyed coffee, a chat, reading the morning newspapers and a game of prize bingo.
They then had lunch at Newsholme Manor, Oakworth.
On their return to the church hall, Lianne King sang a variety of songs, there was a game – in which everyone received a prize – and a tea provided by the St Stephen's congregation.
And Brenda Saunders was crowned Miss Holidays At Home 2019.
A spokesman said: "Holidays At Home is an annual community event – organised by the community, for the community.
"Our sincere thanks go to everyone who made it possible."
