MUSICIANS from Skipton and the Aire Valley have just returned from Bavaria, Germany, where they performed three concerts to enthusiastic audiences.
Hot Aire! performed at Michael-Ende Spa Gardens in Garmisch-Partenkirchen; Feldherrnhalle, Odeonsplatz in Munich, and overlooking Lake Staffelsee and the beautiful Alps – they performed with Musikkapelle Uffing, a traditional Bavarian Band.
“Their joyful sound made me dance in the streets- it was refreshing and exhilarating at the same time. I think the best thing for me was that they even delivered a little speech in German.These guys made my day” said local resident Franzi Eckerskorn, who has visited Skipton as an exchange student with Ermysted’s.
