A SKIPTON based charity that helps children across Craven through its clubs and activities has received £2,000 from the Craven Police Charity Fund.
Skipton Extended Learning for All (SELFA) was one of the main beneficiaries from the annual Craven Police Charity Fund’s popular annual quiz night and auction held earlier this year at The Rendezvous Hotel in Skipton and involving several teams of ‘quizzers’.
The event, the biggest of its kind in Craven, raises money for a number of local causes, concentrating largely on support for children and young people.
Trustees of the charity visited the charity at Skipton Academy to hand over a cheque, while the youngsters enjoyed their summer activities.
