AIREDALE General Hospital worker Paul Marley has completed his epic 78-mile Dales Way walk dressed in a flamingo suit.
Mr Marley, who lives in Keighley, and who has worked at the hospital for 15 years, set off on Monday, August 5, in Ilkley, and finished in Bowness-on-Windermere on Thursday, August 8.
He said he has raised £600 so far for the charity, MIND, much of which has been donated through his fundraising page: gofundme.com/f/paul039s-campaign-for-mind-namh
He said he was looking forward to the walk although the weather concerned him.
He dressed as a flamingo because he loved them.
He was staying in bed and breakfast accommodation along the route.
This year the Dales Way route is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
