GARDEN designer and presenter of ITV’s Love your Garden, Katie Rushworth, will be sharing her knowledge, experience and love of gardening with other garden lovers and floral enthusiasts at Embsay with Eastby Flower Club.
Living in Yorkshire she has first-hand knowledge of plants and the conditions we all encounter locally. She will also reveal some of the behind the scenes stories of filming episodes of “Love your Garden “. This will be followed by a question and answer session on the 35th anniversary meeting on Tuesday, September 3.
The celebratory event is at Embsay with Eastby Village Hall and is open to members, non-members and guests, it starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £8 each available on 01756720614 or club members.
Refreshments will be served after the talk.
Embsay with Eastby Flower Club began in October 1984 with a meeting of 15 ladies plus 11 names of other interested parties, It was encouraged in this endeavour by a donation from the Embsay Horticultural Society which funded its first few meetings until it became self-funding.
Workshops, practice nights, garden visits and talks are all included in the annual programme making for plenty of interesting evening’s entertainment on the first Tuesday in each month.
