THRESHFIELD Court care home in Threshfield has been named regional ‘team of the year’ in the annual Barchester Care Awards.
The awards celebrate the staff and volunteers who go the extra mile for the benefit of those living in Barchester Care homes, with categories including ‘registered nurse of the year’, ‘carer of the year’ and ‘team of the year’.
General Manager at Threshfield Court, Stacey Nicholson, said she was very pleased and proud. “We don’t work in care for the accolades but it is wonderful for my team to be recognised , it is nothing short of an honour.
“This is an amazing achievement, and the staff residents and community are supporting Threshfield Court wholeheartedly. There isn’t a more worthy winner, and we’re really excited for the national awards ceremony in October where Threshfield Court will hopefully take home the crown.”
More than 1,900 nominations were received from across the UK.
