GLUSBURN'S acclaiming travelling theatre company Falling Stars will tour the Yorkshire Dales next month with its latest play Here I Belong.

The tour of 10 venues, including Lothersdale, Cononley and Bradley, comes after the group’s success this summer at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The group’s play for the Scottish capital, written by Falling Stars actor Lee Phillips and directed by founder Rebecca Durham, was entitled To Be Or Not To Be? Purgatory Is The Question.

Rebecca Durham said: “Word-of-mouth spread very quickly during their one-week run and by the end of the week they were playing to full audiences with fantastic reviews.

“You can catch their production at Fallfest 2019 in Glusburn on September 27 and 29, and they will be touring this production in the New Year.”

The September tour is a new play written by Matt Hartley and entitled Here I Belong.

Rebecca said: “This is a play that explores village life, taking the audience from 1953 to present day.

“Falling Stars will be performing in their innovative style of immersive theatre, with the audience at the heart of the action, at village halls throughout Yorkshire.”

Here I Belong will be performed at Lothersdale Village Hall on September 5, Cottingley Community Centre on September 14, Cononley Village Hall on September 21, and Bradley Village Hall on October 13.

Other one-night village hall performances will be Hebden, September 7; Embsay/Eastby, October 4; Cracoe, 5; Bramhope, 18; Carleton, 20; Pannal, 26.
