A NEW nursery facility opened this week at Kirkby Malham Primary School which youngsters from the age of three can attend with teacher-led early years provision.
Headteacher Richard Wright said: “It has only been a few days but we are already seeing a massive difference and are developing some very happy, confident and intelligent children.
“We are offering 30 hours of free childcare and provide a free nursery dinner. Our service is designed not to make a profit but to ensure all monies raised are re-invested into the service.
“Our small enviable class sizes, modern provision and beautiful surroundings allow these children to get the very best start to their school life. They are a wonderful group of children, full of fun and laughter. Very bright too and so well mannered. Each child is a fabulous addition to our little school.”
The school offers after-school provision.
