GAME of Thrones actor Wilf Scolding dropped in to Skipton at the weekend to cut the ribbon on the new premises of culinary business, Chocolates and Truffles.
The chocolate shop opened on the High Street, next to Jerry Croft, five years ago, and has now moved to new premises across the road, at Mount Pleasant, a side road off the High Street.
And to celebrate its re-location, the business invited along Wilf Scolding, who played Rhaegar Targaryen, brother of Mother of Dragon’s Daenerys Targaryen, and father of Jon Snow in the hugely popular fantasy series.
Owner, Michelle Nye, said: “It was a successful event with lots of visitors and we also raised money for the charity working with disadvantaged children overseas Mary’s Meals.”
Wilf is due to appear this Christmas in the BBC’s Christmas ghost story, Martin’s Close. He is also a professional chef and recently completed a marathon for Mary’s Meals.
