THE Lister Arms, Malham, is planning a day of celebration on Sunday (September 15) after being named Yorkshire’s Favourite Pub.
Live music and a complimentary hog roast will be on offer throughout the afternoon, while Callum Spencer and Blue Star Tattoo will be providing the entertainment.
General Manager Darren Dunn wanted to mark the Welcome to Yorkshire award in a fun way that not only the team but also their guests could enjoy.
He said: “We promised that if we won Yorkshire’s Favourite Pub we would have a party that everyone would be invited to. So I hope everyone gets this date into their diary as we’d love to see them there.
“We are absolutely thrilled that the public made us their chosen pub for the year and this is our way of saying thank you.”
Welcome to Yorkshire had 800 nominations for the title of Yorkshire’s Favourite Pub and after a public vote which saw 16,000 people have their say, the award was presented to The Lister Arms.
