A TEAM from the Broughton-based pram manufacturers Silver Cross took on Tough Mudder earlier in the summer, and have now handed over a cheque for £1,463 to a Skipton children’s charity.
Louise Rhodes, marketing and events manager for the Principle Trust Children’s Charity, said the donation would allow the charity to send five vulnerable or disadvantaged children and their families or carers on a much needed holiday or respite break to one of the charity’s holiday homes.
“To have a company with the values, awareness and heritage of Silver Cross means a great deal to us,” she said.
The charity has to raise in the region of £44,000 every year to continue to support underprivileged, disadvantaged and disabled children across the whole of Yorkshire.
Any individual, or business, wanting to support the charity can get in contact by emailing: info@theprincipletrust.co.uk.
