A HOTEL and events venue will be able to host fireworks displays after councillors agreed to alter its licence.
Steeton Hall Hotel had applied to Bradford Council to remove three conditions from its licence. One prevented fireworks being used at the venue. The other more unusual conditions prevented people from bringing sealed bottles of alcohol onto the premises and prohibited under-18s from being there after 9pm.
The Bradford District Licensing Panel agreed to change the conditions relating to sealed bottles and under-18s and to allow the venue to use fireworks on New Year’s Eve, and at other times with a temporary notice.
