CLAPHAM based Glencroft Countrywear has launched a limited edition Three Peaks lambswool scarf in aid of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Three Peaks Project.

All profits from the sale of the scarves -priced £39.95 - will go to support the maintenance of paths and combat erosion on Ingleborough, Whernside and Penyghent.

The scarves feature the Three Peaks project logo, embroidered by JayBee supplies, Barnoldswick.

Edward Sexton, partner at the family-run business, said: “We’re delighted to launch this Three Peaks scarf range, which comes just in time for the cooler autumnal weather. Many of the paths up to Ingleborough begin in Clapham so it is very much our pleasure, as a local business, to be able to support the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks Project and all their work to preserve and support our local environment, in this way.”

Nick Cotton, Member Champion for Recreation Management at the Yorkshire Dales National Park, said: “We’re grateful to Glencroft for their support of the Three Peaks Project through the sale of these excellent Yorkshire woollen scarves. This is the perfect Christmas gift for a friend or family member and provides us with much needed resource to help keep the Three Peaks in the best condition for future visitors”.

Available in black, dark grey, limestone grey, navy and wine, each scarf comes in a unique, limited edition gift box, containing information about the Three Peaks Project.
