SIR - We are writing to thank everyone for their donations to our campaign for emergency funding for Skipton Food Bank. We never expected such gracious generosity from the community, and want to really thank all the individuals, other anonymous donors, businesses, churches, schools and other groups for helping. We have now found somewhere to move to at St Andrew's Church in Skipton which is a real relief as we can stay central and accessible to the people who need us. Special thanks to them for responding so quickly.
As so many have said to us, it is a shame and a disgrace that we are needed at all. However, we can now continue to help those who need it and work towards a world where we are not needed. The Food Bank is a large Craven-wide operation which relies on many donors, supporters and volunteers - thank you so much to all of you.
