FIREFIGHTERS tackled a garage blaze at Steeton this afternoon.
A crew from Keighley Fire Station was called out to the incident, in Ings Road.
Two fire engines from Skipton also attended, but weren't required.
The blaze was restricted to the garage, which is linked to a house.
Michael Rhodes, watch manager at Keighley Fire Station, said: "When we arrived the occupant had used a garden hose on the fire – but there was still smoke and flames, which we properly extinguished.
"There was damage to goods stored in the garage, but the flames didn't spread beyond it."
He added that the cause of the fire, which happened at about 12.45pm, was accidental.
