ONE of the main routes in and out of Skipton will be closed for up to three weeks during the day for re-surfacing of the carriageway.
Broughton Road, from the start of the town council allotment site, to the A59 side of Niffany Bends (A6069) , will be closed between the hours of 7.30am to 5pm, weekdays only, from Monday to Friday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire County Council said work was due to be completed by Friday, November 22, but earlier if possible.
Closure of the road will mean there will be no access onto Broughton Road from the A59 during the day. Traffic will be diverted to the A65/A59 roundabout to Gargrave Road.
