SKIPTON Juniors Under 11's team is delighted with its new kit supplied by the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven.

Peter Ripley, rotary president, who attended a recent training session, said it was great to see the team sporting the Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) logo.

“It’s marvellous to see young people getting involved in sport in general and particularly in Ladies football. We are always looking for opportunities to encourage young people in Skipton to get involved in the community, whether it be sport, outdoor pursuits or community projects.”

Catherine Davison manager of Skipton Juniors, said: “We have so many keen footballers in all age groups that each season we need to find sponsors for our team strips. We were delighted when the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven agreed to help us.

We are all now looking forward to a successful season”.

Girls U11 coach Kerys Hey said: "I’m over the moon that we have managed to get such generous sponsorship from Skipton Craven Rotary. The girls are so excited to have a new kit and to be able to start playing in them. You never know, some of them could be future lionesses."
