Christmas is coming - which means Father Christmas is going to be visiting Romsey this year.

Romsey Round Table will be collecting the funds for Romsey charities and over the course of December, Santa will be in his sleigh travelling through Romsey, Chandler’s Ford and other Test Valley villages.

Romsey Round Table are hosting the event, they are one of the world’s largest voluntary clubs for men, offering 18 to 45 year olds the chance to have a great time whilst making new friends, trying new activities and supporting their local community.

Round Table member, and organiser of the Santa Sleigh for 2019, Pete Godsland said: “We have just finished the most successful Romsey Beer Festival ever, and we are now looking forward to the next leg of our fundraising efforts for 2019.

"We expect the Beer Festival to have raised about £3,500 for local good causes, and last year we raised £4,500 for local good causes through the Santa Sleigh routes."

"Our members love giving their time, and bringing fun and festive cheer to members of the community – whatever the weather! So look out for Santa this year and come out and meet him."
