MEMBERS of Craven Arts have down-sized this year for their annual Christmas exhibition.

Instead of their usual gallery space in Skipton Town Hall, which is under re-development until next spring, they are staging the selling exhibition in the studio/gallery space in Otley Street.

And, the exhibition, which runs from Saturday, November 30 is called 'small works' because artists have been asked to create pieces that will fit in the reduced space available to them.

A spokesperson for Craven Arts said: "There will be a diverse range of beautiful painting and drawing alongside stunning ceramics by Craven Arts members who are all local to the area."

In addition, there will be a watercolour package from the Art Shop in Newmarket Street, as a prize for 'best in show'.

" Craven Arts is immensely grateful for the Art Shop’s continuing support for our members," added the spokesperson.

The studio will be open every day from Saturday, November 30 until Sunday December 8 from 10am to 5pm for visitors, with the artists taking turns to be gallery assistants to talk about the work on show.
