A MAN has died on the railway line between Keighley and Skipton.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said officers received a call to attend the incident, believed to be near Kildwick, at 7.45pm on Saturday.
They were responding to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
A spokesman said: “Paramedics also attended however, sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Rail operator Northern said all trains were cancelled while the emergency services carried out their work.
Replacement buses were put on to help people reach their destinations.
The lines were reopened at just before 2am on Sunday.
No further information of the deceased has been given.
