Rackhams, due to close this weekend
SKIPTON'S House of Fraser department store Rackhams looks set to close this weekend, with mystery surrounding what the building will be in the future.
It is understood the High Street building will be closed for some time, but could open in March next year as some sort of retail outlet - although nothing is clear.
Closing down signs first went up in November after Sports Direct, new owners of House of Fraser, shut down several of its stores.
Former owner of the building, Royal London Asset Management, has since confirmed it sold the building last year.
