INVESTIGATORS want to speak to a man in connection with a incident on a bus in Poole, where a teenage girl says she was touched on the leg by a passenger sitting in front of her.

The 17-year-old was travelling on a number 14 Morebus at Garland Road, travelling towards West Howe, on Thursday, December 19, last year.

During the journey she was touched on the leg by a man.

Another female passenger then noticed the man insistently turning around to look at the victim and smile at her, police say.

This prompted this female passenger to ask if the teenager would like to sit next to her, which she did.

Police have only just released a CCTV image of the man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Police Constable Philip Prentice, of Poole Police, said: "This left the victim feeling understandably uncomfortable and I am keen to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

"I would ask the man or anyone who knows him to please contact Dorset Police."
