AN animal charity is looking for thrill-seekers to take part in a fund raising ‘firewalk’ due to take place at Skipton Rugby Club, Sandylands, on March 12.
Yorkshire Cat Rescue hopes plenty of people will rise to the challenge of walking over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and help support the re-homing of unwanted cats and kittens.
The event will be hosted by Firewalk UK, and all walkers will be fully trained by Scott Bell, a two times Guinness World Record holder for the greatest distance walked on fire. There will also be a food van on site
There is a registration fee of £15 to cover the event costs, and each person will be asked to raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship. Go to: yorkshirecatrescue.org/Event/firewalk
