POLICE are searching for three men who stole a large amount of alcohol from a Skipton supermarket.

It happened at the Tesco superstore in Craven Street at about 11.30pm on Monday, January 20 and involved three white men all aged in their mid to late 30s.

The thieves removed the security tags on the bottles of alcohol before placing them into large bags for life and leaving the store. The men then fled after being challenged and ran onto Craven Street then into the alleyway by Christ Church Primary School.

Male 1 is of stocky build with short dark hair and was wearing a mid blue puffer jacket.

Male 2 is of slim build and was wearing a black baseball cap, black zip up jacket and black trousers.

Male 3 is described as skinny, wearing a grey hooded top and grey jogging bottoms.
