‘GROUNDBREAKING’ new shows will be heading to The Richard Whiteley Theatre, Giggleswick, in March.

As part of its commitment to support innovative new theatre, the arts hub welcomes Hidden Track on March 12 to perform Standard:Elite; while Vamos Theatre brings its latest masked mime show, Dead Good to the theatre on March 19.

Manchester-based Hidden Track is a multi-award winning interactive and game theatre company, pioneering adventures in theatre with Standard:Elite looking at class barriers in an inventive way.

Richard Whiteley Theatre manager Mike Offland said: “This is a playful, interactive theatre experience about class, privilege, and social mobility that’s accessible and, above all, fun. All ages will enjoy this show.”

Vamos Theatre’s Dead Good received its world premiere at the London International Mime Festival earlier this year. The show is entirely in mime using masked actors and is suitable for deaf audiences to enjoy without the need of a signer.

Mike said: “This production brings together some of the UK’s leading mask actors to tell the story of two dying pensioners who, with a bottle of Bollinger and the keys to a Bentley, decide to hit the road for a final, death-defying adventure.”

Tickets for Dead Good cost £12 and £10 (concessions) and for Standard:Elite £10 and £8 (concessions) online from: giggleswick.org.uk/rwt or telephone 01729 893180.
