TOUR de Yorkshire information ‘roadshows’ aimed at both residents and businesses are due to take place in Craven.
Skipton is due to host the start of the second stage of the men’s race and the start of stage one of the women’s race on Friday, May 1.
Those attending the roadshows will find out how best to capitalise on the event, which is expected to bring thousands of people to the area and be viewed by millions of people worldwide.
Welcome to Yorkshire commercial director Peter Dodd said: “The way people come out to support the Tour de Yorkshire is incredible. Whole towns and villages are draped in bikes, banners and bunting, and the number of fans on the roadside is always amazing to see.”
The event at Skipton Girls High School on Wednesday, February 26 will take place from 6pm to 8pm and on March 11 from 6pm to 8pm at Victoria Hall, Settle. A list of all roadshow locations in the county, including dates, times and venues, can be found at: letouryorkshire.com/roadshows
